Darla has an oatmeal fetish. She goes berserk when she smells me microwaving it in the morning. Forget about eating in peace- she waits til I'm seated, then digs her claws into my leg and rushes up to my lap for her 'big chance' at the oatmeal bowl. I don't wear shorts to the gym any more, as these scratches are a little difficult to explain.

Last summer's ferret media star in the UK was an albino jill named Ivy. She was a bedraggled rescue with only one eye, found on a building site. She has appeared with her humans on numerous radio and TV shows.
